For the final week in our Practicing: Forgiveness series, we want to consider the act of forgiveness and the role of reconciliation.
This week, pause and pray two things:
Ask God to show you somewhere where you need to ask forgiveness.
Ask God to show you someone you need to forgive.
As we wrap up our series we encourage you to continue putting into practice what we’ve learned each week. Ask God to show you somewhere you need to forgive yourself, and to accept His forgiveness.
December 1 is right around the corner and that means it's almost time for Kidsville's Driving Scavenger Hunt!
Slots are still available for both Lewisville and North end routes, so sign up to make sure you don't miss out on the fun.
Lewisville has taken the Christmas season as a chance to offer tangible support to families in need. This is made possible through gifts to our Benevolent Fund. As you might imagine, we have experienced a decline in giving during these recent months.
We’re encouraging you to partner with us as we show God’s love and care to families in need this Christmas. Whatever the amount, it all helps with our work in showing love to our community.
Click here and select Benevolent Fund to give online, drop off your contribution to the church office, Monday-Thursday, or contribute in person on Sunday morning.
Josh and Lauren’s Baby Shower Drop-In is coming up on December 8 from 630-830pm. Plan to stop in for treats, and gifts, and a chance for you to offer best wishes to the Smiths.
We are collecting for a group gift from our church family. Click here to contribute online, or you can give in person on Sunday morning or throughout the week at the church office.
In accordance with Provincial regulations for special events, proof of vaccination will be required to attend.
With the return to in person services this Christmas season, we’re looking for people who are willing to help with various Welcome Team positions on Sundays. Maybe you’ve never served before? Or you’ve been thinking about getting connected? This is a great place to start!
We have a number of opportunities available, and need people for the Welcome Team, Registration Team, hosts at Connections Corner, and more!
If you’re willing to serve, or if you’re just looking for more information on getting involved, please fill out the following information. We’re excited to be back together, and for chances like these to be Here to Serve as a family.
Congratulations to Lisa Ryan for winning the Team Building for Change Award, for her work in helping to end housing insecurity and homelessness in rural Nova Scotia. We love you Lisa, and we miss you!
